Akropolis in Konstanz

We ordered pick-up food here today. The food was incredibly delicious and there was salad / bread as a side dish! In terms of price, however, it was rather expensive, as there was actually no service that could have been taken into account. But quality sometimes has its price. Still very recommendable! ☺️

We haven't eaten so good Greek in a long time. Like a piece of vacation. Salad very fresh and the side dishes finally different than just french fries or tomato rice.

Very, very tasty food. You could taste right away that it was homemade food. Unfortunately we didn't make a reservation, but got a table anyway, so you will know about the future :) Price-performance ratio was right and the staff was super personable. I can recommend the restaurant 100%.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is okay, quite nice in the courtyard, uncomfortable on the street. Food is priced okay for Konstanz standards. Gyros, suvlaki and tzaziki were delicious. The rice could have been a little more tomato. There is fat deduction for the stuffed grape leaves - they weren't fresh and were in a "sauce" that had a sticky consistency like nasal secretion and also tasted terrible.

I have been visiting the Acropolis in Konstanz regularly for decades and have always been very satisfied. The ingredients are top quality and the kitchen turns them into very tasty meals. The connection is downtown, the lake and the catamaran with the port are about 10 minutes away, parking spaces are available in the arbor, the large Döbele parking lot is within walking distance. We recommend the lamb and of course the gyros (my favorite). Salad and a perfect dessert round off the pleasure. It has very little to do with the usually very tasty Greek food. The gyros is completely without flavor or spices. With onion it at least tastes like onion. Rice with sweet tomato sauce. Small portions. Salad not necessarily Greek but the dill sauce is great! Ideal for everyone who wants to repeat their taste experience from their full board vacation in Greece.

Very friendly staff. Eat like in Greece, damn tasty and portions perfectly fine for the price. 5 Stars! Always my pleasure.

We wanted to spend our wedding day here, unfortunately, a wrong decision! We had to wait over 1 hour for our food. The starter they brought us wrong. The mousakka was overpriced small portion and warmed up 4 times not fresh. The staff was totally overwhelmed and accepted more and more guests although the restaurant was already full. Never again......

Restaurant wasn't full and we came without a reservation. We chose the restaurant based on the rating. We had to wait around 30 minutes after I spoke to the waitress. Did I get the statement that this is full? Then why should I sit here and wait forever until I get my food. Was there relatively quickly, however. I am so happy that I have not visited a Greek for a long time and had to ask myself was it rated so well? So against me, the Greek is one of the best and we are mega full and happy. The salad wasn't Greek for me and the pastries with the salad were so hard that I have to say you had to eat leftovers from the day before. Conclusion. Thanks, the rest was OK. But I have eaten better Greek somewhere else.

We happened to come by. There was a sign at the door: beautiful courtyard Well ... he definitely wasn't ... but stayed anyway because we were welcomed in a friendly way. The food was very, very tasty and is recommended. Seldom eaten so well Greek

We came here because a friend had recommended it to us. We were a little disappointed with the service. We had the feeling they wanted us to go the whole time. The portions are huge but the taste ist regular, nothing too tasty.

Stopped in for a quick dinner before the annual Flohmarkt. Food was excellent, staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed everything and would definitely eat there again when visiting Konstanz.

One of the best Greek restaurants I know. The building and the interior are a bit dated, and should be renovated, but food and service are excellent, particularly tasty is the salad, which is part of most dishes. If you have not reserved, you should arrive before noon at noon, because it will be very busy afterwards.

Nice Greek restaurant

Tasty food, especially the grilled octopus, gyro, and souvlaki. The salad had a very creamy dressing (which may appeal more to some people than others) and the potatoes had cheese on them, FYI. The tzadziki souce was great! The food was pretty slow to come, so be prepared to wait a bit.

Been going there for over 30 years now, always excellent food and extremely friendly service, very reasonable prices. Lately it's been drawing more guests and reservations are sometimes adviceable (e.g. for Sat at noon)

My family had some days ago a dinner there. Food was great! We like the way of cocking very much. It also fit very the taste of Asians. The entry is not easy to be found. Also the parking nearby is a bit confusing. The guests should be careful with the parking time which drives the dinner in a hurry way instead of enjoying. But it has nothing to do with the restaurant.

Exellent restaurant! Staff is very friendly and casual, but keeps the distance if you are not willing to chat. Service is fast, but there were also not so much other guests at that time. Food is just delicious, especially we loved to cold starters plate!

This place was amazing! We were walk-ins, and we had to wait for about 15mins before we could be seeved, but they did make room for us at a table. When we ordered the server was great, spoke good English and was fun. Food was amazing and the price was really good. Was a great stop for my birthday but I will come back to this restaurant next time I'm here!

Great stuffed Bifteki, tasty tzatziki, friendly and attentive service. Gyros was not bad and Tyropitakia were also good. Sadly the rice on the main plates was cold and a bit sour (as in really old), but maybe it was bad luck. We will visit the restaurant again if our way brings us to Konstanz.
